NEW in 2019, the U.S. Department of State and Department of Customs and Border Protection is partnering with America’s Favorite Travel Show to help get more people traveling in 2019.

Global Entry Program

If you’re registering for a Global Entry interview, fill out the form and check “Global Entry Program” to register for your appointment. All applicants who check-in and receive an appointment will get FREE admission to the show.

How to Apply:

To participate in the interview process at the Chicago Travel & Adventure Show, you must apply by December 17th, 2018 following these steps:

  • Visit the Global Entry website and click on the “Get Started” button.
  • Step 1: Create a Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) account.
  • Here, you must first create an account then log in to submit an application. When applying, be sure to only select the Global Entry option. A $100 non-refundable application fee must be paid online at the time you apply.
  • Approximately two weeks after you submit your application online, you will receive a message in your account stating that you are “conditionally approved” for Global Entry and are invited to schedule an interview.
  • Login to your TTP account and select enrollment location Chicago Travel & Adventure Show. Enter the “Access Code” 9C1862B27 to schedule an interview appointment for the Chicago Travel & Adventure Show private event.

Passport Acceptance

Apply for your U.S. Passport

If you need a U.S. passport or need to renew your current passport, fill out the form and check “Passport Acceptance” to register for your appointment. All applicants who check-in and receive an appointment will get FREE admission to the show.

Ready to get your passport? Here is what you need to bring to the show: 

Applying for a New Passport or Replacing a Lost of Stolen Passport?

Adults and children* applying for the first time and individuals who lost their last passport, should bring the following items with them to the show:

  1. A completed and un-signed DS-11: Application for a U.S. Passport
  2. Proof of U.S. citizenship
    • Examples: original birth certificate, previous U.S. passport, consular report of birth, naturalization certificate, certificate of citizenship
  3. Valid photo identification (ID)
    • Examples: driver’s license, state-issued ID card, student ID’s, employment ID
  4. Passport photo (See Photo Requirements)
  5. Passport fees (See current Passport Fees)
    • Personal check preferred, credit card also accepted. We will not be able to accept cash.
    • Fees vary depending on the customer’s age, the type of passport, and the service requested.

 

*Applying for your child? If you are applying for your child’s passport (age 15 and younger), both parents and child must be present. If one parent cannot be there, they will need to send a notarized DS-3053: Statement of Consent (less than 90 days old) and a copy of the front and back of the ID used at the time the form was notarized.

 

Renewing Your Passport?

Adults renewing their passports (last passport most have been a 10-year passport) should bring:

  1. A completed and signed DS-82: U.S. Passport Renewal Application
  2. Your previous passport (valid for 10 years)
  3. Passport photo (See Photo Requirements)
  4. Passport fees (See current Passport Fees)
    • Personal check preferred, credit card also accepted. We will not be able to accept cash.
    • Fees vary depending on the customer’s age, the type of passport, and the service requested.

 

Things to know:

  • Passports and original documents will be returned to customers in two separate packages by mail within approximately two to three weeks for expedite service and four to six weeks for routine service.
  • We are accepting passport applications at this event, but we are not printing passports onside. Anyone requiring emergency passport services should contact the National Passport information Center (NPIC) by calling 1-877-487-2778.
