1) Media Positioning

You’ll want to make sure you develop press materials that capture the essence of your destination or tour product and some of the potential story lines or angles that might be of interest to the press.

6) Think TV
Be prepared to present your products to television journalists. Television coverage of the show is brisk on the Friday and Saturday mornings before the show. If you’d like to be included in the TV coverage, 1.) Send your pitch idea to the Travel & Adventure Show, and 2.) Plan to get into the show early to have your booth attractive and ready for TV. Make your booth visually captivating with lots of color.
7) Host a Special Event or a Celebrity
