DALLAS, TX – August 26, 2014 – Explore exotic travel destinations, taste international cuisine, feel the energy of live cultural dance performances, and even scuba dive at the 5th annual Dallas Travel & Adventure Show.  Unicomm, producer of the largest series of travel shows in the U.S., announced the show’s return to the Dallas Convention Center October 25 and 26th.  The event provides a unique opportunity to explore destinations around the globe, featuring over 150 exhibitors, celebrity travel experts, engaging seminars, and interactive activities for all ages.

NFL Hall of Fame honoree and legendary Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach and Travel Channel’s Samantha Brown are keynote speakers.  The weekend also includes some of the world’s foremost travel experts including Pauline Frommer, editorial director of the Frommer Guides and publisher of Frommers.com; Tom Parsons, CEO of Bestfares.com.  Attendees get the chance to hear inspiring travel stories, learn invaluable tips, ask questions, and take pictures with their favorite high-profile travel pros.

The show is indeed a global expo with exhibitors representing some of the world’s most sought-after travel destinations.  Representatives from the likes of Tahiti, St. Martin, China, Africa, and Jamaica are there to help visitors with invaluable insight into planning the trip of a lifetime.  And it’s not just about international travel—there are US exhibitors as well, including those from Palm Springs, Maui, San Antonio, and more. Guests can also take advantage of exclusive offers from show exhibitors, and they can win exciting trip giveaways.

Visitors can also experience family-friendly activities including scuba diving and rock climbing.   The Global Beats Stage hosts talented dancers representing worldwide destinations, demonstrating and even teaching traditional dance moves.  For foodies, local chefs are teaching international cooking techniques and ethnic dishes (complete with samples) from on the Taste of Travel Stage.

“It’s the only event that allows you to travel to Alaska, China, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico and Singapore without actually leaving Dallas, at least for now,” states Unicomm CEO John Golicz. “At the Dallas Travel & Adventure Show, our motto is ‘Dream It. Plan It. Book It.’ Our job is to inspire attendees to find a destination they never thought about visiting.”
